The Department Chair or the Dean of Academic Affairs advises students on their academic progress. If required, student may be referred to the Director of Student Life for tutorial assistance.

Students with incompletes are given five days to complete the coursework. Students with less than an overall 2.0 average at the end of the term will be
placed on academic probation. Policies governing probation and academic
dismissal are strictly and uniformly enforced.

Career Development Center
Mandl has an experienced and successful Placement department with extensive contacts among employers that will further assure a successful employment outcome for our students. The college provides free placement services to its graduates and alumni. These services include assistance in writing resumes, advice concerning interviewing techniques, referrals to employers, and help with setting up appointments. The Placement Director counsels and advises the students throughout the placement process, records all job leads, develops new employment opportunities, surveys graduates and employers, and keeps placement records.

Prospects for employment are excellent. Although Mandl does not guarantee the placement of graduates, Mandl’s Placement department will assist students every step of the way in the attempt to identify and secure an appropriate position. Data from both the United States and New York Departments of Labor indicate that allied health will be among the fastest growing of all fields for the foreseeable future.
